The jacket draws inspiration from the Vietnam War depictions in Forrest Gump and the bamboo forest action scenes in A Touch of Zen. The color scheme perfectly blends the military green. a common element in military design. with the color of bamboo. The fabric is heavy canvas. contrasted with earthy leather. This jacket retains its military roots while infusing it with the uniquely Eastern martial arts spirit.
